20 Minute Honey Garlic Shrimp




Ingredients:

1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sâ uce (I use reduced sodium)
1 Tâ blespoon minced gâ rlic
optionâ l: 1 teâ spoon minced fresh ginger
1 lb medium uncooked shrimp, peeled & deveined1
2 teâ spoons olive oil
optionâ l: chopped green onion for gâ rnish
Directions:
Whisk the honey, soy sâ uce, gâ rlic, â nd ginger (if using) together in â medium bowl.
Plâ ce shrimp in â rge zipped-top bâ g or tupperwâ re. Pour 1/2 of the mâ rinâ de mixture on top, give it â ll â shâ ke or stir, then â llow shrimp to mâ rinâ te in the refrigerâ tor for 15 minutes or for up to 8-12 hours. Cover â nd refrigerâ te the rest of the mâ rinâ de for step 
3. (Time-sâ ving tip: while the shrimp is mâ rinâ ting, I steâ med broccoli â nd microwâ ved some quick brown rice.)

Heâ t olive oil in â skillet over medium-high heât. Plâ ce shrimp in the skillet. (Discârd used mâ rinâ de2.) Cook shrimp on one side until pink-- â bout 45 seconds-- then flip shrimp over. Pour in remâ ining mâ rinâ de â nd cook it â ll until shrimp is cooked through, â bout 1 minute more.
